It was like owning my first gun.

Idk it only lasted for 2 days

I fucked it
Stuck my cock in the hole where they put the cleaning kit. Thought it would be like anal or something.
It was a 1903a3 so I the gun was like a milf. Normal I'd say gilf but she was only shot once so she was still fresh

mix of that N64 kid -tier excitement, and slight underlying fear and stress of somehow fucking up and losing it / firing it by accident at worst possible times / etc.

Being born I guess. Dad bought me my first guns 6 months before I was born. I was thrilled when I got old enough to use them.
>>
I didn't get my first gun till after the army and deployments. It was an AR15 too. So it was sort of like I was just continuing on with something that was part of my life for 9 years.

Felt good. I still have it. Its a ruger 10/22 mkII. My stepdad bought it for me when i was 16, when i turned 18 i "bought" it from him. Havent shot it in a few years, but i pull it out of the safe about once a month and clean it.

It was great. I went to the store and picked out which one I wanted and my dad got it. He paid half of it. I remember walking out of the store and our car with my first shotgun in my hands. It was pretty neat being able to bring my own gun out to my friend's place and shoot stuff.
>>

well the first guns i got was from my grandfather
it wasn't really a big deal. whatever.
when i bought, with my own money more or less, and assembled my first AR it was triumphant

It was a VEPR that I converted myself, needless to say I learned a lot about AKs during that period, as well as the fact that VEPRs aren't all that.

Relatable, My gramps gave me his Colt SAA in .45LC when I was like 10, I shoot it just about every weekend.
>>

>as well as the fact that VEPRs aren't all that.
Elaborate
>>
>>30525093
It did nothing more than the WASR I bought shortly after all the while being a few pounds heavier. I think VEPRs are best in a larger caliber with an optic, I had one in 5.45.
>>
>>30522106
There was a period when I actually slept with my first gun
>>
>>30525121
I didn't actually realize that VEPRs needed a bullet guide installed to work with double stack mags. That kinda puts me off of getting one, considering it's one more possible thing to screw up on it

'bootin

I bought a 12 gauge Mossberg basic as basic model when I was 18 because I could and 'merica.

Shot it once or twice and enjoyed myself.

Took it with me from closet to closet as I moved between 4 or 5 apartments in the next half a decade without firing a single shot until I bought my brothers WASR off him and genuinely fell in love with guns.

pic related, my original Mossberg but with a rifled barrel I picked up used way later when I started hunting.
>>
>>30522106
First gun was in fact two rifles, a sks and marlin 336 in 30-30. Bought them both in a package deal. It felt awsome!!! I felt so bad ass knowing I had something to protect myself and family with. I was 17 about to turn 18 in a couple months. It was really the only time I ever even touched guns. Sometimes I would just take them out and look at them, hold them as if they were children. Looking back at it, I remember thinking to myself how I couldn't believe that I actually owned guns. It was nice...
>>
Still very new to the gun ownership lifestyle but buying my first gun, a glock 22, was pretty exciting. I mean it was the only thing that actually made me feel 21. I don't drink, I don't go to clubs and there really wasn't much that changed when I turned 21 so the handgun purchase was like my right of passage I guess. Also the aftermath of buying the gun was a mixture of reassurance of security, intrigue of how to properly handle it (my cousin who is a sheriff kindly gave me lessons) and lastly the final emotion was a little bit of guilt. Out of all my friends I was the most adamant about gun legislation. I spent most of my highschool years unable to feel any other way. Then when I changed my views into actually liking guns and then buying one, I now own two handguns, I thought I had betrayed what I once stood for, or at the very least was a hypocrite seeing as I was the first person to buy a gun but was the last person most people would expect.
>Anyone else here experience the same thing? Going from a strong liberal stance on guns then moving to a more moderate stance?
>>
>>30522106
My first gun was a Benelli Nova that my dad got me when I was 13. I did a lot of pheasant hunting and skeet shooting with it.

The first gun I bought was an M&P9. That's what kicked off the addiction and now I can't stop

Yeah Actually, I didnt really have a HATE GUNS mentality, but I was extremely liberal and really didnt like guns at all (I was the campy gay twink in highschool). I had a home breakin not long after my 18th birthday and immediately went out and purchased a Tula SKS and was given a 12 gauge Stoeger coach gun by my boyfriend (I previously had no clue he had any guns and it shocked the hell out of me) But after I had acquired the both of them I got really severely into guns, I don't own too many now but I still have the two guns, along with an uberti SAA, A mosin, a Remington 870, a ruger 10/22, An RAK Ak47 and a Beretta 92fs Inox. When people see my gunrack or my safe it often throws them for a loop as i'd be the last person they'd expect to have any guns at all, let alone quite a few. Pic unrelated, but want.

>>
>>30526016
I guess it's nice to know other people like yourself had a similar upbringing with guns and then had a change of heart. I too feel myself liking guns more and more to the point where I also have a list of guns I'd want to own one day when I know realistically one or two guns is enough for home defense and personal protection outside. >>30526016
One difference between you and I however is that you went through a real threatening experience that prompted you to want a gun. Another part of my guilt, a guilt that I still slightly carry today, is that I went through no such thing. In fact based on the area where I live I'll probably never have a home invasion or anything like that but I think the idea of not wanting to be helpless in a future situation talked me into being preemptive about the whole thing.

At first it was the best, then the high wore off after i shot it 2 or 3 times and field stripped it a dozen or so times, detail stripped it two or three times. Then i bought another. and another. Then i started building an AK, then an AR. Now i might build a sten or one of those 80% glocks. I have an itch that cannot be satisfied for long. Maybe one day I'll find/build the perfect gun. Maybe then I can start spending my time and money on something productive.

Who am i kidding? There's no way off this ride.

were you the opposite of him? pro gun and all that I mean? I know most of my friends are pretty shy about guns, and others are interested in them but only slightly. I know they'd probably never buy one themselves either so I feel special in a way I guess.
>>
>>30522106
I think everything is best summed up by

>how the fuck do load stripper clip
>>
>>30526550
Same. My first gun was a Marlin 30-30. For some reason at the time I really liked lever action and that's what my dad bought me.
>>
>>30522106
The best. I felt safer, manlier, and excited to enter the gun community. I still have my first, an SKS (technically the first I BOUGHT, since I inherited a pair of hunting guns first, but they needed restoring, and I used the SKS first), and when I get a second SKS and Tok, I'm going to make a nice award case-style setup and retire my first rifle and pistol to a wall space.

oh boy, here we go. i bought my first gun when i was 18, a WASR, back in 2003. i wasnt living at home at the time because i got kicked out right after high school ended because your a big goy now and need to move out, and ended up getting an apartment with a semi sketchy friend. i kept it in a guitar bag in my closet and didnt tell him, but eventually he found it. i learned that he and his other sketchy friends would take pictures with it when i wasnt home and i felt like it was going to be stolen so i brought it over to my parents house (who were both cops) for safe keeping.

my dad thought it was awesome and they held onto it for a few weeks afterwards. well my mom got to gabbing to another cop at work and he told her it was illegal. so she calls me and tells me to get this illegal gun out of her house and tell her who sold it to me and she was going to arrest them and so on. i pretty much told her to fuck off and went and got it, and gave it to my girlfriend at the time. she put it in her closet, and lived at home. well her brother played guitar so her snoopy yenta ny jew mom took the guitar case and put it in her brothers room. he comes home and finds a strange guitar bag and opens it and out falls an AK and he screams bloody murder and my girlfriend explains the whole thing to her mom, who freaks and demands i come get it immediately. so i do and i eventually sell it to my cousin at a loss, and i never even got to fire the fucking thing.

well fast forward a few months later and me and the gf get into an incredible fight. she always thought i was cheating on her because i had a reputation as a manwhore, even though she was a 9/10, so she makes a fake aim profile and messages me on how she thought my profile was cool or something. i purposely kept my aim profile blank because of stupid shit like this so i knew it was either my cousin messing with me or my gf trying to bait me.
>>
>>30529498

2/?

so i took the bait and asked for a pic and got this ridiculously large picture with the whole thing whited out except for a face in the corner because bitch doesnt know how to crop photos and im all "wow youre a hottie". immediately my phone blows up and shes telling me what a fucking piece of shit i am and i told her i knew it was fucking bullshit because my aim profile was blank youre a fucking amateur and her friends are in the background egging her on and yelling at me. i tell her look, im not going to yell at you through the phone just meet me somewhere and well talk. i meet at a gas station by her place and of course her whole crew shows up. immediately a cop shows up and tells everyone to leave (for an at the time really nice city, there was an incredible amount of gangs and gang related violence). so she hops in my truck and off we go. about 2 miles down the road i get pulled over and given a ticket for the headlight being out.

a few more miles down the road the same cop lights me up again and i pull over. he yells at me to get out of the truck and throws me against it, cuffs me and tosses me in the cruiser. i sat there for probably an hour or longer and saw my gfs bitch ass mom come and talk to the cops and they both leave. so the cop gets me out of the car and im barefoot and wearing a t shirt and gym shorts and no shoes, and its the middle of january. he asks me for permission to search the truck and of course i say yes and he obviously finds nothing. then they start to question me about my machine gun, and i act absolutely stupid and say i have no idea what theyre talking about because i didnt know how a bill of sale worked and if it was ok to sell person to person and didnt want to get anyone else in trouble (this was coming after i grew up in the 90s seeing preban mags and assault weapon bans and so on so i wasnt sure exactly how it was supposed to work).

so theyre digging and digging and start throwing out suggestions about "well was it a bb gun or something?" so im all yea thats it, a bb gun. so the cop uncuffs me and is like look man, i know shes hot but for fucks sake her mom is an asshole, stay away youll regret it later.

i have no clue at the time what happened so i just drive home, pop a xanax and pass out. the next day my gf calls me and tells me what had happened wuz her best friend, who instigated the whole situation, called her mom and told her i kidnapped her from the gas station. so her mom calls the cops and tells them im armed with a machine gun and kidnapped her daughter.

well karma is a bitch because the instigator was engaged to some chiropractor a few years later and he got shot and killed after getting into some sort of argument with a dude. me and the girl broke up in 2007 and she moved to california and now does small bit parts in shows like tattoo nightmares and 1000 ways to die. also turns out the cop that cuffed me was friends with the same cousin i sold the wasr to, and he was telling him this funny story one day about a kid with an ak47 that kidnapped his girlfriend and my cousin was like dude was it a grey toyota suv? i met the cop a few years later and we had a laugh about it. i kind of want to get one again because of the fun memories i have from it.

I didnt know him much when he ran around with the anti crowd but when I took him shooting he said he regretted wrighting an essay for gun control a few years ago another friend of his converted him to pro gun, most of my family is anti gun I have converted my father for the most part and am working on converting my mother and sisters, even took my cousin out shooting last time he was in town I know his mother and sister are anti gun not sure of his opinion. When I was little I didnt see the need for guns but was never expressly against them. As soon as I was old enough to form an opinion for myself I became very pro gun even though I didnt grow up with guns first time I went shooting was when I was 10 or 11 with a friend and his father. I had never been shooting with my father up until this year. Even though I know my mom was very anti gun for a long time she didnt impart her opinions on me, mostly she cautioned me to stay away and dont touch guns because they can be dangerous. Esentially what they tell kids in school if you see a gun leave it and tell an adult. Through scouting I learned safety and shooting sports and my freshman year of highschool I got into all the gun channels on youtube especially nutnfancy (for reasons I still cant understand) That is when sandyvag happened and having a good opinion on guns as I did and being in the liberal shithole I was in I formed a very pro gun opinion. I moved to where I currently am and it is very conservative, all of my friends are pro gun.
TLDR: grew up in a liberal environment but somehow ended up being pro gun

I can relate, i bought a 10 22 and at first i was very happy, then after i took it to the range for the first time i was over it. I mmediately bought a long 357 revolver and slept with it, Dan Wesson. I bought shotguns and handguns non stop. Finished an AR last year. Sold everything just have a few lowers and a Glock 41, one of the smartest greatest handguns ever made. 13 round 45acp capacity. Made quite a bit of money
