Video is being converted so here are some pictures.
keep in mind the outside was painted camo with tan
Tan, green, and some brown. The original color is black and the stock is plastic / rubber. I forgot to take off the rubber butt pad but I will.

You'd better get that thing firing again and post vids when you do.
Also I think my math was off. It was more like 8 months from the day I dropped it to the day I found it.
last picture then once the video is exported and uploaded I will supply a link.
Still interested in that $65 OP for your spare one?

That looks pitted as fuck

yep

Besides the shells, it looks perfectly fine. The melonite/parkerized/chromebore finish did its job perfectly.
I'd slather it in oil, grease the rails and dry pump it about 500 times, then clean it and go duckhunting again with it as is, not refinished. At most, I'd hit the contact points on the bolt with a brass brush.

Underrated.

In your last thread another anon said you had good taste in music, but was at work and didn't watch the videos you posted. From this one, safe to say he was right. Hope you get her back in working order.

I think he was talking about the blues song playing in the last video. Thank you for the compliment I appreciate it, we all need some culture now and then right? Plus its better than my heavy breathing into the mic

He may have been, but I've always really dug that slow dance between the rhythm section with the guitar noodling above it all. Best of luck on the restoration.

Prediction about OP needing a tool to get the "toolless disassembly" part out: checked.
(Not that it was a particularly hard prediction, just a mildly amusing one).

/hist/ here, OP. (More interested in the restoration process than in the gun itself, but, hey, finding old rusted weapons and managing to getthem good-looking again is a big part of archeology). Good job.
Proto-ordnance got that bootlegger 1911 back together, so I have no doubt you can get this thing working again.
