Secondly, this is what you get for not securing your weapon in your boat. Either have it in your hands or clipped into the holder, cocksmoker. (I realize not all boats have rifle/shotgun holders but they're cheap. If you're cheap you can even rig something up.)

This resivoir doesnt usually hold much water but at the time they were converting the dam to hydroelectric so it was full as fuck for like two years. They just recently opened the dam up and since it hasn't hit monsoons yet I figured I might have a chance...

I suggest getting a complete disassembly guide (The Gun Digest series is good but you can probably find the same info online) and detail strip it completely. Be sure to get the proper gunsmithing screwdrivers and pin punches. Copper/bronze brushes are good for scrubbing without leaving scratches, although the finish may be toast anyway.

Fatigue isn't the problem here. The danger would be rust pitting so severe that it weakened the chamber or bolt. That should be visible on inspection. It may not be too bad.
