I run 3 miles is 24 minutes. Not great but well within the standards. And it's possible, I went to boot camp with a British guy. He joined the band

This went on for 3 fucking years. I was E3 at the time and he was E4. Needless to say I did not envy him in the slightest. Around the last 4 months we were there he was allowed to leave the barracks for a few hours to goto an internet cafe with me which was cool. Every time I'd go to pick him up I would get dirty looks for wearing gym shorts and a tie die shirt. This was about 6 years ago and I'm pretty sure they are on lockdown still.

He wasn't a citizen yet. I've known 5 or 6 guys that got their citizenship after being in for a couple years. One of my friends got out of a field op to go get his citizenship.

I'm going to give you some important advice. Don't use phrases like devil dog and jarhead. You will be hazed when you are a boot, but you will be hazed a lot longer of your a motivated boot. The only phrase you need to know is err. That will cover you in every situation
