Califag here looking to buy an ak74 wood furniture for around 500-600 bucks that is california compliant. Any recommendations or tips to look out for?

I dont know a whole lot about AKs but there seems to be ones that come with a Monte Carlo stock which would make it featureless.
I think Saiga sells them for ~600 dollars? I can't say for sure.
