It is a SPARC AR indeed. I have some old Magpul XTM covers on another upper, and some regular santoprene ladder covers that came with the Omega Rail. and haven't decided which I want to use, and I kind of like the way it feels as is, surprisingly.

Yes, it's the best general purpose round. Cheap and very effective against soft targets when using 16" or longer barrel. I wouldn't use it for hunting though, it doesn't fragment reliably enough, only something like ~%50 of rounds will fragment. Use soft points for hunting.

That letter is regarding the cheek rest saddle used in conjunction with a quick detach sling mount and some picattiny rail mount.
My setup is a Shockwave blade and a cheek rest. It isn't the same setup, and so the letter does not apply to me.
No one has sent a letter to the ATF yet regarding my specific configuration, and in the spirit of the founding fathers, if it isn't clearly illegal yet, then it certainly is legal.

no i mean me or anyone for that matter. The dipstick on tundra's is seemingly useless it doesn't tell you anything. I put 8 qts in and the gauge shows dead center when running but the dipstick shows either 3 qts over filled and the other side shows bone dry
