When I was in Bangladesh in 01 the cops had Sterlings, Enfields, and 870s. Probably Chinese made. The few common people I met who had guns were usually Khyber revolvers of some sort. Terrifying to look at. I've never seen anything in the US that looked like those. Except maybe Sam Colt's hand carved wooden prototype. Colt's machining may have been better.
In the newspapers there were reports every week of arsenals being seized. "A shotgun and 12 rounds of rifle ammunition were seized...," "a rifle, 6 rounds of ammo and 3 shotgun shells were captured today..."
I used to laugh about it. It's kinda shit now tho.
