I've had a G3 that I wore out from shooting too much. I changed the rollers in it a few times until I couldn't get any bigger ones. Pressing in a barrel is one thing. Having to reweld a receiver is nuts.

On military exercises in Europe we get to try other countries' guns often
Even for an army used kinda worn rifle it was very smooth, the bolt travelled very smoothly, the trigger was great for an AK, and the sights were very good. Best ironsights I have seen on an "assault rifle"
I didn't get very much time with the Sako but the Valmet was absolutely great even with the funny spade handle stock

Ok. Hold on. I'm all banged up from an accident and I just moved. It'll take me a few mins to get them together. The last collection pic I posted was the one with all the rifles on the floor in front of the wall of video games.

Between 2k-4.5k on a set of rollers. I think I got up to +8 or +10 rollers. That was 2003-2006 or so.

Of course they can. You have to install a new trunion which means re-welding the receiver. I sold it to a guy for a parts kit.

Good purchase OP. Got my hands on one not too long ago. Selling point for me was how little it weighed despite feeling like a solid and sturdy rifle.
