Not sure what's best to buy for the money. Looking for cleanish brass cased stuff.
Normally I have no qualms with Tula/Wolf but if shit has gone down basic maintenance may be a problem.
Winchester has some 5.56 for an okay price, and wolf gold seems promising. Any recommendations?

this, IMI is damn fine ammunition. Honorable mention goes to Hornady 75gr TAP 5.56mm part number 8126N but it is about $1.25 a round and is only sold to police departments. You can find it for sale if you look hard enough. I shot a deer with it once. Tiny entry wound. 2" exit hole. Liquified the lungs.

There was a study done with 4 identical ARs firing two different brands of steel case and two different brands of brass exclusively. Put 10k through each rifle. Barrels that shot exclusively brass lasted 2x as long as the steel case only barrels, but price to replace the barrels every 5k rounds shooting steel was cheaper than replacing a barrel every 10k rounds shooting brass.
