The green is supposed to be brighter than the red. In my personal opinion it is MUCH brighter in daylight and all. And if you look into Viridian lasers they come with a holster. I paid $300 US pesos and got a holster with light/laser.
And I went with green because I wanted to get one light/lazer and not have to get one again, so I went all out and got top of the line. Again, green is supposed to be best.

I'll smoke a cigarette with friends once in a blue moon and get a huge nicotine rush even with my occasional pipe smoking and lip packing. I don't do either regularly enough to ever need a bowl or a lip, but they are nice pick me ups when I indulge.
For buying a pipe there's a lot of different opinions out there, in my opinion just buy one you like the look of. Ergonomics really don't matter and you don't need to break the bank, with about $100-130 you can buy something that will last you a very long time if you take care of it. I buy my tobacco from a few smoke shops around, but I have access to that because I'm in a pretty huge city. Otherwise I'd just buy it online. Just try a bunch of different types when you start out and find what you like, I like orientals over English blends because I'm a little girl with girly tastes, but I also don't end up smelling like my morning smoke for the rest of the day

Bud, its supposed to be 1 part vodka to either 3 or 4 parts gin, depending on the strength of the gin, and 1/4 part kina lillet.
Here's the thing. Kina Lillet was reformulated in the 80s without the quinine extract that gave it its trademark bitter taste that Ian Fleming loved, due to falling sales. When they reformulated it, they made it sweeter, thus ruining it for use in Vespers. If you want to make a vesper that is actually in line with the ones Fleming drank, you would be going 1 part vodka (usually wheat or potato vodka), to 3 parts gin (the 47% abv export variety of gordons works good, but beefeaters does the trick too) and 1/2 part of Cocchi Americano, to get the famous crisp bitterness. Telling you, what your drinking would taste nothing like a traditional vesper. Gordons isn't expensive either.

I have a SureFire X-400 Ultra green laser light on my FNX-45 Tactical. Same deal, wanted to just get one really nice light I could swap out to other guns if needed. The laser is almost hilariously bright but it's kind of a big device for some guns so I'm still sort of tempted to get an XC-1 for my Glock 19 in the future.

Is the Viridian worth the money over something like a TLR 1 HL or Surefire x300 Ultra? I always felt lasers were tacticool shit so I never gave them a chance, plus the light doesn't seem nearly as bright as most lights in that price range.

I havn't owned or personally played with the other brands of lights. The Viridian claims 225 lumens. I think it is very bright with a good beam focus. The green laser is extremely bright and big as well. And the laser/lights are tacticool and all but I have the rail so might as well get sumn for it. Plus it came with a holster.
Also don't compare lights to light/lasers because JUST a light will have much more room to engineer a brighter light. Green lasers are hard enough to make small let alone with a light.
The other thing about the viridian is you can adjust the strobe rate and even the output so itll do basically anything you want.

The recipe is:
3 parts Gordon's (specifically Gordon's. To make it correctly, you have to have the Gordon's Import, which is 97 proof.)
1 part vodka
1/2 part kina lillet (which isn't available anymore. The closest you can do is get lillet blanc and add quinine to it, which is what kina lillet was.)
Shaken over cracked ice until cold, then poured in a large champagne goblet and garnished with a long, thin slice of lemon peel.
