Hello
I'm an engineering student, this summer I'm taking 1 class so I've got spare time.
Teaching myself solidworks, came up with this as a good project
its a foldable stock for a 1911 to make it into an SBR, it folds into a frame for the holster
Yes, I know SBRs are illegal unless you have a class 2 or 3
This is just a project for design, I'm probably never going to build one
Does this look like a cool design? Would you want one if it was legal?
Got any suggestions?

>Does this look like a cool design?
pants with fake cargo pockets have existed for ages

Probably not. Folding stocks on pistols are very inferior to carbines in general. Interesting anyhow.

thanks senpai

I would want one for a glock.
>>30450762
only way to attatch it without getting a custom-cast polymer lower would be to use one of these

No, check this out.
Glocks have a built in slot for stocks. This is a gen 3 glock 23.

fuck yeah
I'm gunna look up what the lock in there looks like, and I'm gunna model it and use it in the project
thanks a million senpai

someones never held a glock. would be trivial to shove something in the grip hollow and secure it with the lanyard hole.

np, I know what it is like to 3d model.
one project I would love to do is make a glock carbine.

Eh, it's kinda lame, I'd just make a shoulder stock holster.

>make grips for 1911 with backstrap pushed rearward juuuuuust a bit
>make folding stock fit inside hollow with tab thing
>snap snap snap into place
>ta-da!
Basically copy glocks here:

And walk out of class.
