Except Jews went along with the early stages of the Holocaust because they didn't think that resistance would lead to anything besides more brutal reprisals. If you think about what it was like to be Jewish in 30s Europe, anti-Semitic violence, pogroms etc. weren't new to them, and they had previously just dealt with those by taking it and rebuilding after, weathering the storm so to speak. There is an element of truth to the doctoring photos bit. When the Soviets came in, they avoided publishing certain photos because people might have started asking questions about the Gulags. The ones most people have seen were carefully selected, but recently, more obscure ones have been released, including from negatives never processed. If a fake slips in here or there, 9/10 it was accidental or to deliberate to dramatize an event that wasn't documented in film (as far as we know). But no, we can't have 1/10 being false, because a priori all holocaust evidence is false. This is how it works. But that doesn't satisfy the denialfag narrative which ignores all new evidence and argues based on outdated and debunked crap.
