No I don't think so. He just said fuck it and left. I followed his channel pretty closely and it sounded like he was having a tough time in life and getting rejected just topped it off.
Guy was having a really rough time, having some worsening motor control issues it seemed. He shut down the channel while he was seeking treatment. Such a shame, MP seemed like a great dude. Southern prepper occasionally posts quick updates about him when not posting progressively more incendiary videos

The ONE fucking video of Maineprepper that I wish I had saved was "3 Guns For Every Prepper To Consider". It was some of the absolute best youtube advice that I've ever gotten and led me to my first firearm purchases. I was even about to save that video when I found that it was taken down.

There were other highlights of the video though.
He talked about the importance of training and the purchase of ammunition as a priority right out the gate. He also added caveats to the order in which you should buy the guns (e.g. he said to buy a pistol first if you lived in an urban area with crime and the greater threat to you was currently muggers or some shit). He mentioned that an AR-15 was the rifle he chose for the solitary reason that he had over a decades worth of training on the platform and recommended that others do the same if they were heavily trained with AKs, Mini-14s, or anything else that fit the rifle category. He also wasn't a faggot about brands or specific features of the firearms. I remember him saying something along the lines of 'this optic and this furniture is just on here for my preference, but you can put whatever you'd prefer on yours; the important thing is that you buy at least 1,000 rounds of ammo and practice as often as possible'. It's all pretty much common sense that many people don't seem to have.
