if you can manage to keep full powered 10mm on target rapid fire from a clock 29 at anything farther than 25 yards, more power to you, go for it, the round is outstanding. I, a glock 20 owner and 10mm lover, can't do that on my best day in ideal shooting stance, grip, and all other factors that go into putting as many bullets into something as fast and as accurately as possible.
I carry 9mm purely because I know i know I can put 15 rounds into someone's guts at 25 yards as fast as i can pull the trigger.

This is the dumbest argument I've ever seen repeated about 10mm. The "cheap watered down" ammo is still in decent to warm .40 and .45auto territory which are both adequate for plinking or SD. No bugs to work out. The P220 has been around for ever, there rest is minor dimensional tweeks and figuring out the right spring rates/timing.
Theres a guy with a 10mm Beretta 92 that took him about 50 hours of work and it's flawless. He gave Beretta the info and they had no interest in doing it. Guy on hkforums builds 10mm USPs
