Now I don't mean the least operator of all the operators. I'm talking of the operators who are meant for certain task and fuck it up the most or not the best or even operator at it. I can't believe it took 15 posts for someone to say it. While I understand the spirit in which the atf was created, in its current state it's just a bunch of people who couldnt make it into the FBI, so now they shoot dogs and every now and then they'll go after bubba and his sawed off so that they can "justify" their bloated budget. All memeing aside, what is the ATF actually good for? Even if we leave firearms out of it, they STILL fail to live up to expectations. The market for counterfeit tobacco products is bigger than ever (which results in something like a 1 in 3 chance that a 'name brand' tobacco product is actually a Chinese fake, which have been found to contain, among other things, traces of actual excrement), and the ATF is doing NOTHING to curb the tide, because they're more interested in pretending to be cowboys going after those evil outlaws with their garage-chopped short barrel shotguns.
I know the ATF is already unpopular here, but their problems go so much deeper than most people realize.
