How effective would inflatable decoy troops be for averting sniper fire away from the real ones?
I doubt the ones in your pic would be effective. They'd have to be relatively realistic to fool the enemy.

One or two shots and the enemy would realize what's going on. It's good to draw out fire and try and locate their position but don't expect the decoy to last long.
