It's good stuff, even these wierd experimental releases they're putting out. It's somewhat logical that Buffalo Trace is putting out the one-offs under the Taylor line, since introducing them in any other line would be totally out of place, but the secondary market prices are ridiculous. I got the Seasoned Wood for msrp ($80), and it tastes like a slightly spicier Old Weller 107 (which is $30). People are paying $450 for it, which is idiotic. It's nowhere near that good. You could probably mimic it by modifying Old Weller 107 with some Weller 12.

I got it as a big favor from the sales rep at the liquor store where I spend most of my dollars. He felt bad I got shut out of the buffalo trade antique release last fall, so when Yamazaki SC came out in February,he sold me 1 of the 2 bottles they got at asking price ($340). It's nice. I like all suntory products, but this isn't even my favorite one. I paid about the same price for Hibiki 21 a few years ago, and it is better in every way. But the sherry cask is unique. I'm glad I bought it cause nothing else tastes like it; very rich and flavorful.

Well, the S&P 500 is down 100 points in futures trading, so it will go further than that when the bell rings in 8 hours. In my opinion, this is the trigger for the built-up negative sentiment that has been held back around the globe.
This is the trigger that people have been waiting for. The time has been ripe for over a year for a big sell-off. Markets have tested highs again and again and flagged every time. This is big. It's going to destabilize the GBP and Europe's already weak economic growth. And the big issue is that 50 years of European drift towards internationalization has been suddenly stopped. The Dutch nationalist party just made an announcement they will push for a similar referendum. Worst (Best) case scenario; the EU is dissolving.

The Imperial Stout and the Taddy Porter are amazing. You could do the chocolate stout also, if you're a bit of a faff when it comes to liquoring yourself up.
It's a bit hard to find though.

I honestly have minimal experience with English beers besides Samuel Smiths. My thing is whisky.

I still need to get ahold of one for my Carcano (mine's a short rifle). The weird thing is, there's a ton of wear from the bayonet at the end of the barrel but the rest of the gun is almost spotless. Maybe the rifle was committed to parade duty for the entire war?
