Yep. The real shitty problem of it all was I dropped a very large chunk into my investments that I can't touch for about 10 years at least. If I hadn't done that i would be ok till I found something else. I already started asking a few people if they wanted to buy some ammo off of me but no takers.

Toledo to be exact, mostly 5.56 M193 all set up for long term storage. I put all my 5.56 on stripper clips then in cardboard and sealed up 1,00 rounds in a new 50 cal ammo can with a couple of spoons and silica jell packets to keep everything nice and dry.

Actually in recent events the old south end of Toledo has been going apeshit the last few weeks due to some new street gang from Detroit that moved in - according to a friend in TPD.
I'm seriously reconsidering selling the ammo and clanging career paths to something a little less stressful with more job security, like the medical field. I may not be making as much money as I was before but at least I will learn a more important skillset.

cardiovascular pathology research, my experience isn't the typical one though. I got hired on as literally the only staff in the research lab which hadn't been set up yet, so I basically co-manage the research staff now
If you want to do research, best advice I can give you is put:
>GWAS studies
>SiRNA knockdown and plasmids
>transfection, cell culture, confocal microscopy, two-photon microscopy
on your resume. those things are really hot in all the papers released recently. It goes without saying actually read about them so you know what you're talking about if you interview
If you interview, don't get thrown off if they say "okay but what REAL experience do you have?" do some experiments on your own, get some results just to have it. employers don't give a shit what you did in school.
I can't speak as to what medical school is like, but I can tell you that 75% of the students there are actually retards. My interns that I'm firing apparently have spots at a not-to-be-named renowned medical school
If you're unemployed after you get out, keep your skills sharp. The market sucks for bio right now. CIA DS&T and NSA research programs are always hiring, though, if you want to work for the big evil.
