~500rds through mine and the gun is 100% intact and could pass for "i put 20 rounds thru it once then never touched it after"
paid $585 for it and i'm hoping to get most of that back so I can immediately buy a better pistol.
don't get me wrong, love 1911s and the pistol is fine. but 3-4 FTFeed / slide stop related malfunctions every range trip and the "breakin period" which doesnt seem to be going away any time soon has really lowered my expectations of it as my always nearby HD pistol

Does anyone else here prefer straight vertical slide serrations like on old/base model Colts? I really never did like angled slide serrations, especially if they're only on the rear of the slide.
