Anyone found .22lr lately?

I shot my Dutch Mannlicher with my parents the other day. Original WWII ammo. The RO thought it was cool and said he collects ammo so I gave him a loaded shell
Posting my oddest, like pinfire, cupfire, teatfire, gyrojet etc etc.
I really need to take them out for a new picture because this one sucks.
>>30367211
You need to git some .58 Schubarth
>>30367164
My dad has a destroyer carbine, and 9mm Largo is nowhere, and he's almost out of brass and surplus crap.
Is it safe to fire modern Luger cartridges in place of Largo?
>>30367282
looked through my cartridge collection pages, I wouldn't have been surprised if I had one and just missed it
>>30367164
Couple that I load for (yes I know some are made "commercially" but not in enough to shoot every day):
8x56R
7.7 Jap
6.5 Jap
6.5 Carcano
43 Mauser
577/450 Martini-henry
>>30367302
No, 9mm largo is 9x23 metrically while 9mm luger is 9x19 metrically
>>30367309
speaking of jap ammo...
>>30367302
Also have this link

The 9x18 Luger cartridge is much hotter than the 9x23 largo. Not to mention the difference in case size. If you really want to shoot it, start reloading for it.
And almost forgot about my ABC armor piercing ammo.
It's needle sharp on the tip, literally hurts to even touch it against your skin.
>>30367318
I have 15 rounds of Jap manufacturer on stripper clips in the original box. I don't have pictures of it right now.
>>30367282
Sold one at SLICS two years ago.
>>30367164
>Tfw bought 2 pistols in .41AE back when it was gonna be the next big thing
At least it's just a barrel and mag swap to 9mm
>>30367332
Thanks babe, I've scoured the internet and been unable to find that site
22 CB or BB caps
Also 8mm Lebel.
>>30367387
Privi Partizan makes 8mm lebel new if thats what your asking about
>>30367211
Got the respective names for the numbers?
7 looks like percussion sharps brass to me, 8 for the maynard carbine, 2 for one of the other civil war carbines, 4 is pinfire for revolvers, 10 is 9mm flobert?, 11 a dardick tround and 12 the daisy caseless ammo
sorry for mixing up the order, just went through the image
>>30367622
>Got the respective names for the numbers?
I used to, but IDK where that text document went.I couldn't tell you any more from memory.
Fucking 30-40 Krag. Apparently nobody makes it on a consistent basis so it's not available anywhere online as of a week ago and I just got a Krag yesterday. I guess you can use .303 Brit brass so since I reload I'll survive, I just want actual Krag brass.
>>30367302
If he's already reloading then star line makes brass. If he's OK with a bit more work .223/5.56 brass will work too but it'll lose a tiny bit of case capacity
>>30367387
I can buy 22 CB at walmart
>>30367309
>6.5 Carcano
nigga that shit is everywhere, 7.35 Carcano is what's hard to find.
>mfw my favorite dealer told me some guy bought all the 7.35 Carcano he had (almost 2000 rounds) about a week before I got to him
>mfw the ammo hoarders cucked me out of my share once again
>>30367302
I think ppu makes new largo?
>>30367344
What rounds are in this picture?
>>30367164
Does .327 Federal Mag count?
>>30367910
50cal salvo squeeze bore
ABC armor piercing 223
>>30367703
You could always try Gunbroker for brass or loaded ammo.
>>30367780
What you find is incorrect bullet sized 6.5 Carcano. They use .264 did bullets while Carcanos are a .267-8 bore. I have to size down .277 bullets down to get mine to shoot anything but plywood sized groups.
>>30367923
Ammunition is still being mass produced, and Ruger recently released the LCR in .327, so it's far from obsolete.
8x22mm Nambu
>>30368257
http://www.mrnambu.com/brass.htm
>>30368216
It isn't obsolete, but it is pretty hard to find. Federal makes one batch a year, Speer Gold Dots are the most common loading I've found, and one of my LGS's recently got a whole five 20rd boxes of Jamison 90gr loads. The girl at Big 5 just kept trying to give me .357 Mag instead. I've shot more .32 SWL through the thing than I have anything else.
>>30368030
Can they be bought?
Bloody 32 short.
>>30367302
get 9x23 win brass, is the same dimensionally
or just shoot 38 acp (not super) through it like everyone who owned an astra 400 did
>>30368802
As a collector's item maybe, if you are lucky enough to find a few here and there, but otherwise no. You'll never find boxes of it on market.
.45 G.A.P.
Extra ammo is hard to find for the duty weapon.
>>30368802
I've got a few rounds of the .50 SALVO sitting around, $25/rd
10.75x68mm Mauser.
You still occasionally run across old German/Austrian big-game rifles in this caliber here in Europe.
It's uses a .416 bullet, but it's milder loaded than .416 Rigby.
The brass case is rather unique and as far as I know, no common cases can be reformed to 10.75x68mm Mauser.
I believe there's only one manufacturer of cases, and they only occasionally make small production runs.
There are a few other 10.75mm calibers as well, although they're so rare that no one even makes cases for them.
>>30368856
You can put 38acp through a 9mm largo firearm?
>>30369039
Sales of .38 ACP ammunition enjoyed a modest spike during the surplus gun boom of the 1950s and 1960s, since the cartridges would usually cycle in Spanish surplus pistols like the Astra 400 that were chambered for the 9mm Bergmann–Bayard (9mm Largo), despite the fact that the .38 ACP was semi-rimmed and slightly shorter than the rimless 9 mm Largo. Some Astra 400 pistols were stamped "9M/M&38" on the barrel, denoting that the barrel was specifically designed to chamber both 9mm Largo and .38 ACP.[4]
yeah you can also shoot it in a 357 magnum
>>30369088
I'll have to keep an eye out for astras then, although i can source largo ammunition its nice to have recourse
