Whats a good first handgun for concealed carry? Price isn't really an issue if it can be justified.

How's the s&w m&p9? I hear good things about it
s&w mp9c was my first gun and i love it. It's striker fire so the pull of the trigger takes some getting used to. The size is good especially if you get a mag with an extender on it. The only real "problem" i have is in order to have 10+1 loaded, you have to cock it, remove the mag, and then load another round in the mag. Not a big deal but tedious.
I carry Glock 23 in winter and sig p238 in summer. I'm a small frame individual so the Glock stands out when wearing lighter cloths

The 9c is awesome but here are the things i dont like about it in comparison to the glock
>slide assembly needs a roll pin punch to take apart for deep cleaning
>novak style sights means you cant rack it easily 1 handed off a belt
>trigger sucks balls
Basically get a decent set of sights with the rear sight having a "shelf" and buy the apex ram for the trigger or the whole trigger replacement and its super good to go. 12 round mag instead of 10 with the glock 26. Not sure why the other anon said its a 10+1....its 12+1 even with the flush fitting mag.
Mine came with 2 10+1 mags >->

Commiefornia? I've got one 12 round flush and 2 12 round pinky extended. All 3 are factory mags

Alaska actually. I live out in the boons where supply is limited.

Ohhh true. Maybe you got some mags for ban states? Dunno. The standard ones are 12 rounders so maybe if you look around or shop online you can find some. Not sure if thats feasible up there or not.
