pre-b cz-75s occasionally show up on gunbroker or aim surplus. the short-rail, 'first-model' variants are a lot more rare, but you can find them from time to time. i've seen a few posted on /k/.

If you can find a Tanfoglio TZ 75 with the frame safety, I'd start there. They were more refined versus the US side CZs. From personal range experience, they tend to shoot better and have smoother triggers.

CZ did make a commemorative/limited edition "short rail" and it's more accurate than the CZ75B retro. Limited edition. 525 made. You can find them on Gunbroker for between $750 and $1000.
