I believe double action revolvers just have to pass a drop test to be sold in California.
Chiappa literally sells a single action version of the Chiappa in California to get around what I don't know. I don't understand why it isn't sold.

I am trying to keep an open mind here.
I see three possibilities:
1. Chiappa is full of idiots.
2. The gun fails a basic drop test.
3. California bureaucrats are fucking over Chiappa because the Rhino's action is unique.
