Is the Spyderco Endura a scrub knife for edc/tactical applications? I like the blade length and how much grip it has.

Deployment speed is kind of meh though, does it really matter that much? What are some alternatives preferably with the same blade length or longer (approx 3.75"+)

Should I put a zip tie wave mod on it?

They sell the Endura with a wave already. It is my most favorite everyday knife I've ever had.

I already have one and I carry it everyday. I would just like to know about an upgrade/something different to buy. I don't know if I like the wave feature i'd like some input on that

Also I was looking at pic related but the handle doesn't look very grippy.

Also interested in small concealable fixed blades if anyone knows of some

Spyderco is a respectable brand, the only guff you might catch is from autists with a different favorite brand.
Honesty there are very few brands that are unfairly shit on in the knife world, and the ones that are have brought it on themselves with their shenanigans.

Spyderco is one of the gold standards for edc. They have a few tactical/heavy use blades but they're not really geared towards it like others.

Anecdotal story about a guy climbing a fence with the endura wave and stabbing himself deep in the leg with it opening on him

So go with the regular one
