So I can get a Mpx pistol with a brace for 1415 before tax. Is this a good deal? Should I get it /k/?
No, you might as well get the MCX for the full caliber benefits considering both have the bufferless folding stock. Not a lot of benefits of a pistol brace when you can fold a full rifle's stock just the same.

In that case a good normal AR 9mm pistol build can be had for significantly cheaper. Unless the folding stock option (that you still can't shoulder), is worth $500+ to you, the MPX isn't anything special.
Not bad by any means, but definitely overpriced, and that's coming from a Sigfanboi who loves muh anchor.

Not sure to be honest with you. I know there are folding buffer tube stock options for normal ARs that have a quick detach type link for folding the AR, but obviously it can't fire while the tube is folded. If you want the fire while folded capability, then the MPX is pretty much your only option.
Like I said, it's not bad by any means, I just think it's overpriced. If the stock feature is specifically what you want and don't mind the price tag, then get it.

Good price with a brace. You typically find gen 2 pistols for $1500 in store.
Personally I would rather get it without and get the telescoping brace. I got it the first 2 weeks of release and jumped on the stamp ASAP. I would have not gotten my stamp if I knew the telescoping brace was a thing.
