How do you VZ guys feel about a bolt release?
>>30357693
Not a big change, but another small improvement any vz owner could appreciate.
I'm not for modifying my guns, but it seems like it could be handy. And actually looks like it maybe should/could have belonged on the rifle to begin with. Most vz mods are a bit ugly if you ask me, but this isn't bad.

i still regret not getting a vz2000 when psa had them for $400 plus 5 mags. i remember that i wanted to get it, i dont remember why i didnt. too much money for one now i think .
>>30357693
A large improvement of the guns ergonomics, threw around with the idea of getting one for mine but that'll probably be a lot further down the line.
If you have the money and really like the VZ there's really no reason not to get one.

i would suck your cock
Side folder or Full stock?
>>30358332
I have both stocks and swap them at least once a year since I need a vehicle gun for a month or more straight in the fall season. I'd only suggest the folder if it's a vehicle gun.
Otherwise, the fixed is infinitely more comfortable. Still, the wire folder is pretty good feeling, for a wire folder. I get pretty decent cheek weld on it.

Fixed are pretty comfy, though I will admit I'd prefer a straight butt plate over the curved one which has a tenancy to dig into you a bit.

L-lewd
>>30358371
The only thing I don't like about the side folder is how slick the buttplate is but that was easily fixed with a trip to the hardware store.

Neither of these things have ever been an issue for me.
I just picked one of these up last weekend, and it's the first rifle I've had that uses the rock-in system. Can regular mags work, or will the magwell only accept the rock-in type?
>>30359137
Nigga, what? The VZ-58 uses proprietary magazines.
>>30359165
learn somethin every day, thanks.

>uses the rock-in system
>Can regular mags work, or will the magwell only accept the rock-in type?
Uhh... What?
It uses vz.58 mags considering it's a vz.58. What else could it possibly use?
>>30357693
I mean I guess it's neat if you really feel your rifle needs a bolt release, but I have no problem just smacking the charging handle when I want the bolt closed.
>>30359137
>Regular mags
What is a "regular mag"? The vz uses regular mags for a vz
>>30357693
ordered mine already
upload a pic of ur vz to their post and they will send you a 20% discount code.

AK mags because it looks like an AK
Another question: Will MP-44 mags work in an AK?
>>30359555
>expecting magazines from one gun to fit in another
>>30359555
trolling..?
>>30359595
well there are guns like the Tavor that can use M16 magazines, so it's a fair question
>>30359626
the tavor is directly based off the M-16
AK is the general idea of the STG44, but not exact design
>>30359712
>but not exact design
Not even remotely close. Maybe similar in ideology, but that's where similarities end.
>>30359626
Ah. Ok I understand your confusion. There is a modern de facto standard for 556x45 rifles. This is an anomaly in firearms design. There are some examples of magazine interchangeability outside of the STANAG rifle mags, like Daewoo pistols accepting S&W mags or carbines designed to take Glock mags. These things are not to be considered the norm.

5.56x45, my bad.
