Unlike all the others, Serbia has managed to fulfill her national project twice, first in the form of Serbian Kingdom, and then in the form of Yugoslavia. The first one, while being bulwark of Orthodox heresy in Europe, have been tolerated by western powers as a buffer state against Ottoman threat. The second one, a successful example of market socialist state, should have been disintegrated, stripped for international capital and colonized even despite its close economic and cultural ties with the west. Seizing moment after the collapse of Soviet Union, Americans, Germans and Italians have supported local national elites and Al Qaeda affiliates to rise up against the central government and then military intervened into subsequent civil war under the guise of humanitarian mission. Serbia, being the backbone of Yugoslavia, has been chosen scapegoat to take all of the damage and accusations, only partly justified.

Bosnia should have been split between the Serb and Bosnian populations.
