OP no matter how you go into the military, you will be expected to lead. Of you hide from leadership you will be considered a bad Soldier. So with your degree it is best money wise to go on as an officer. Also you will have access to way more fun training early on.

Holy fuck this is exactly my fucking situation i'm heading towards! Less of not liking to lead and more of just the fear of not being able to do anything in the field and having to hang around other officers which from my experience I prefer grunts and NCOs to officers. What MOS are you gonna go?
