just got my conceal carry permit, what does /k/ think is the best pocket pistol in 9mm? looking at the glock 43 or the ruger lc9.

Mine should be in the mail too. My pa is giving me some lessons on proper carrying, and I'm pretty syked about it. So I'll be looking. One of the main things I've been told is to use something your comfortable, but definitely try to have as many rounds as you can comfortably conceal carry.

One of the videos I was watching stated that you're much more conscious about the carrying than those around you, and that most people can't tell. He even said that most people who carry every day don't even really give it a second thought, and as long as it's not something super obvious, most can't tell.

this is true, but i would just feel better with a smaller gun in my pocket. Looking really close between the Ruger LP9 or Beretta Nano but don't know much about Beretta's never really liked them. really like to stay with a 9mm

I have a sig p938 that I will be carrying as soon as I get my ccw. It’s real small but still feels very solid when shooting. Also the recoil is not nearly as bad as I thought it would be for such a small gun. I would definitely recommend it

If you really want a single stack 9mm for pocket carry specifically, get a PM9. The trigger isn't as good as something like a shield or glock 43 and they have been known not to have their mags drop freely but it is much shorter and smaller.

I prefer the shield as far as shooting experience goes but these are both good.
