This. although I've never taken a direct shot, i have taken a ricochet. and while it hurt like fuck, was nothing like getting stabbed.
Even a .22 is going to leave a deeper wound than that knife, and it's not going to be notably smaller in diameter. Considering the expansion and depth, the .40 is in a whole other league.
