Yes they are great, thats our issue mask for USAR hazmat level C type shit. They are super comfy with the webbing and they have hard lens that goes over the soft flexible lens of the mask. The hard lens is clear but they also have a yellow and a tinted one like sunglasses that i also got.

Looks cool bro.
How the straps feel? I like full face masks like that and the M50, bit they're expensive.
>>
>>30338301
it feels excellent. the only thing I worry about sometimes is the face seal, but I guess that's the game I play when I don't shave. The flutter breath valve and visor separation make it really comfortable to wear and it doesn't fog up. currently waiting on the visor stickies, too
>>

Where I live people would rip me out on these since this is considered specialist equipment for automotive painters and such. But that's good to know. My hood gas mask is a tad unconfy and it fogs up sometimes, ugh. Couldn't figure out how to put the anti fog lenses because I couldn't find about doing that on the Internet.
>>
Improvised cold setup. Cheap, works well (tested it for a full day's worth of shooting and running around at a CQB match in -20C), and most of all keeps the sunglasses from fogging up even when breathing hard.

>>
>>30339277
there's a way to convert it yourself by disassembling the foregrip and turning the charging lever in some way or something, then just putting the ejection port cover on the left side of the gun
good luck finding it, comrade, because I'm lazy as fuck
>>
>>30339335
They didn't have dark lenses. I also wear a ski mask under it. And where can I get dark lenses
>>
>>30339346
that would be easy stuff, the problem is I don't think the bolt is reversible. so even then, your extractor and ejector will still be oriented left
on a side note, apparently they stopped selling the bolts because someone blew up their rifle incorrectly installing it in a conversion

eBay has millions of surplus masks for sale, but their usefulness during the Habbening is constantly debated.

mind you, even a GP-5 wih a fresh filter will protect you from mild irritants and dust. It's also worth noting that you need a mask AND a suit to protect against some of the more potent agents, and that the chances of encountering anything that dangerous are exceedingly slim. You really can't go wrong with a decent surplus mask.

Okay Gents I have an honest question. Are there gas masks out there that would work for Anhydrous Ammonia.I live in Farm country and accidents involving those thousand gallon bastards are a real possibility, I'd love to find one to add to a blowout kit if at all possible in case of me being a first responder. no one wants to die suffocating on that shit.

Opscore Ballstic Highcut XP medium/helmet with lux liner worm dial in multicam. 1500 usd along with an ops core Gunsight ballistic mandible in multicam 600 usd. sure fire Hl-1 helmet light 199.99 usd, on top is a Hel-Star 6 Red/Green/ Solid IR/ Strobe IR light 145 usd
along with smith optics outside the wire with turbo fan in tan 499 200 usd. Ordered some multicam oakley m frame 3.0 with helo gasket to replace it. most people cannot fathom a helmet costing over 3000 usd but this is the best humanity can make right now with current materials ... the maniable and helmet alone weigh 3.5 lbs... a bare ACH in large weighs 3.55lbs. This is next level protection at least a generation ahead of current issue equipment to 1st world countries...

>If you store bulk quantities of anhydrous ammonia, additional protective equipment is required. A rainsuit and two gas masks with currently dated ammonia canisters must be available for emergency work. The protection from a gas mask is limited, and a mask should only be used in low concentrations. If a serious leak occurs, call your local fire department for assistance. Firefighters have the proper training and equipment, including a self-contained breathing apparatus and protective suit, to deal with major leaks.

Let's be more precise though, it's perfectly right, save for this point: those goggles have vents. A full face mask makes little difference aside from having the two combined in one, but then it won't have vents and will allow your eyes to breathe, because yes, your eyes kinda like to breathe.

But then, unless you spend 24/7 with a gas mask, protection goggles are enough, as long as they are completely hermetic, without vents, in which case freediving style diving masks without a nose will do. Also depends on what you protect yourself from, your eyes do breathe, but they don't need much protection either.

Dive masks are also worth checking and can easily be adapted to use filters.

they're variable voltage units, they can run on anything between 9-14V or 22-26V

>>30344531
but that's wrong. First off, the pic shows an early Gen.2 PNV-57E. Definitely not top of the line, but far superior to natural night vision. Even the old Gen.0/1 PNV-57As (which I'm guessing is what you had) work pretty damn well with IR illumination.

>>30344592
earlier units need illuminators for optimal performance, the one in the pic does not

Turns out they're $349. You've done it again, kommandostore. What do you need to do to get them to work tho?

there are loopholes, but I'm not getting ruski-style rubber ones, just the one made for volcano hiking.
And I'd still be put on a watchlist just for that.

speaking of those and gas masks, there's this weird artist who cuts sneakers apart and reassembles them into pretty baller looking "gas masks"

thanks m8. firstly, any batteries you recommend? I got some from Amazon, but I don't think they're right, as they look like miniature duracells.

and while we're at it, do you have a guide on how to activate em or anything? I'm completely lost with this thing, no switches or anything.
