Didn't see one, Thought I had a stupid question that didn't deserve its own thread.

Post your stupid questions that don't deserve threads here!

is 10mm an acceptable caliber to have in a handgun if you spend large amounts of time in the woods and cant always conveniently carry a rifle for bear or mountain lions, or is it still meme tier under those circumstances

OP Here.

So I have a Daniel Defense rail system that I scrapped off of an old airsoft gun of mine, that I was looking to sell. Its price new is around 450, but its 6 years old(barely used it though, perfect condition). How much do you think I should ask for it?

Also, I was going to throw it on Ebay, because that usually sells well, but I am not sure if there are any wonky laws in any US states about selling gun parts? I assume I dont have a problem, as I never had to sign anything when I bought it, but that was 5 years ago, ya know?

The last thing I want is a chargeback I cant defend against because it technically was illegal because of some quasi-normielaw.

So CATOBAR carriers have ~4 cables for the tailhook to catch correct?

But the hook only needs to catch one. What happens if you catch the first and touch down before passing the other 3? Won't you snag them as well? Won't they fuck up your landing gear?

I have a Mosin trash stick with a hella smooth action, doesn't make it a good gun by any means. BUY A DUST COVER FOR THE JINGLE JANGLES AND LULZ
>>
>>30325657
Yeah. but its a real weapons grade daniel defense rail. The airsoft equivilants are only in the high tens low hundreds. This thing retails for 450 dollars.

>I have a Mosin trash stick with a hella smooth action, doesn't make it a good gun by any means

true enough. my Arisaka is a good rifle because if superior engineering and glorious nippon steel folded 10^10 times
>>
>>30326614
10^10 folding does no good if it can't get a round in the chamber.

I've been posting this a lot lately and I'm sure some of you recognize this. I'm worried about all the pitting by the firing pin. Is it something to worry about or am I ok? I only shoot brass through it

If I hypothetically in another universe created a fully automatic PPS-43 from parts and machining skills how soon is it before my dog gets shot, and what do I do with it?

What is the most powerful bullet a person can fire from a handgun-sized firearm and not smack themselves in the face with it?
>>
>>30329465
Depends on the person
>>
>>30329473
An average man.
>>
>>30329476
Still depends on the specific cartridge and the gun it's being fired out of. It's a pretty poorly thought out question, really.

Hey guys.

I'm looking for a reliable watch. I'm not fond of any fashion watch or whatever you call them.

I saw someone post about a Vostok amphibia that was used in two moon landings and one soyuz mission.

I want that type of watch. Military, maybe diving watches, that have a good mechanism, are sturdy, well built, and look reasonably good.

Would you happen to know any watch that fits the description?

I'm oogling the Citizen diving watch right now.
>>
>>30329491
I just want to know if my dream of firing .50 BMG rounds from a handgun-sized, magazine-fed firearm is feasible.
>>
Where does the FAMAS meme come from?
>>
>>30329502
i dont think you would be able to feed a handgun 50bmg without jamming and massive ergonomic, weight and economy issues.
your best bet is a break action or bolt action.
>>
>>30329497
/g/ has a dedicated watch general, might be worth a shot to ask them.
