Do AR-15's have to get banned before Ruger finally fucking makes the mini14 AR mag compatible?

>implying they won't ban AR-15 magazines, and any derivatives, specifically and by name

Point of the thread--------> .
You. <-------

Why would Ruger make the mini14 AR15 mag compatible if the mags get banned?
The government won't grandfather in any "high-capacity" magazines this time. It's all going to be 10 rounds maximum, and none of this ".50 Beowulf magazine" shenanigans.

Mini-14 is kind of a niche product desu senpai

They'll fucking well have to, they know full well that they can't round up all the 30rd mags in America, there's billions and literally no control or knowledge on who has them.

It's going to be like the NY SAFE law. Nothing is grandfathered in there. "Bans possession of any "high-capacity magazines" regardless of when they were made or sold. The maximum capacity for all magazines is 10 rounds. .22 caliber tubular magazines are exempt from this limit. Previously legal "pre-1994-ban" magazines with a capacity of 30 rounds are not exempt, and must be sold within one year to an out-of-state resident or turned in to local authorities."
They'll just arrest you and confiscate it if you are seen with a "high capacity magazine", which will then give the cause to search your home, office or place of employment, car, etc., to confiscate any and all other magazines you may have that violate the law. It will take time, but they will do it.

Meant to add: you won't be able to sell them to out of state people because it's a national ban. Turn them in, or face legal consequences.

i lost them in a boating accident

Ex post facto laws are expressly forbidden by the United States Constitution in Article 1, Section 9, Clause 3 (with respect to federal laws) and Article 1, Section 10 (with respect to state laws).

All good unless they catch you with them
Better hide them good.

Hopefully they don't get neighbors or relatives to rat on you, Stasi style.
You're anti-gun liberal aunt? That girl you broke up with because she said "it's the guns or me!"? That soccer mom down the block who saw you loading up your car to go to the range and just felt "unsafe"?
>>
>>30322271
The SAFE act doesn't make it illegal to have owned them in the past, but makes it illegal to CONTINUE owning them. Therefore it barely passes ex post facto.

>Implying ruger would ever give up the ability to overprice their mags

>Turn them in

Bullets first homeboy.

Yeah because that can be done on a national scale and without resistance.

Just because New York is a cucktown doesn't mean that shit will work elsewhere.
