Recoil spring is bad.
Considering it's Springfield, they probably used a .45 acp m1911 spring which any idiot can tell you, creates more recoil and thus needs a stronger spring.
That's not the gun itself, that's a mentally challenged manufacturer who can't even fucking manufacture M14s in spec because they outsource everything they can.
Check your extractor spring. Extractor should be fairly difficult to move with your finger. It it pushes out easily with a finger replace the spring behind it.
As the slide recoils the casing hits the ejector, and instead of pivoting off the extractor and getting kicked out, the extractor has just enough play in it to allow it to push slightly, slowing it down just enough to get caught by the slide rtb.
