Look for deals on police trade in pistols. Sigs can often be had for cheap in good shape.

I only managed t stockpile .308 because my girlfriends step-dad buys in bulk and every time he get's a box of ammo he get's us one too. I suggest any CZ or Sig you can get a hold of. They're often pricey new but I've seen them around your price range for older models.
