What is the best AR-15 you could buy if money were no object?
>>30300342
A SCAR16
>>30300360
17S
M-16
>>30300342
Transferable select-fire lower.
Deck the rest out with whatever gucci parts you feel like.
>>30300342
i have a fn15 on order only because it's fucking impossible to find a colt, hope this shit going on doesn't take my order forever to get here
>>30300342
>Not talking into account select fire options
SR-15
>>30300342
Can I have $100 grand and bribe the armory to give me my old service rifle?
>>30300342
SR-15 E3 Mod 2
Still shoots 1 moa 5 round groups after 20,145 rounds with zero malfunctions, zero cleaning, only lubrication and ammo added to the equation.

Knights Armament Company is king.
Maybe an FN with a CHF barrel in 2nd place
And a modern Colt in 3rd place.
It seems like most other companies try WAY too hard and end up like guidos.
KAC is strictly professional.
>>30300342
windham weaponry cdi model, comes with fore grip diamond head flip up sights and great top rail for all the optics you want, and rail system allows you to attach anything you can to it.
>>30300427
I should have meant that KAC is king of highest tier, FN king of high tier and Colt is just a >good, solid gun
>>30300432
also here is the gun.
>>30300342
A pelican case full of mint transferable drop in auto sears and actual third pin lowers.
>>30300425
>100,000 dollar AR
>still has a fucking railed gas block
dusgusting
>>30300427
>Knights Armament Company is king.
Fuck this guy, buy Colt.
>>30300342
>Implying it could be any company other than KAC
REEEEEEEE!
>>30300342
KAC SR-15
anything more is a waste of money
anything less isnt a KAC SR-15
>>30300342
LWRC makes a mighty fine rifle.
Otherwise just frankenbuild a rifle with the most fantastic, gucci parts money can buy and then cerakote it into something beautiful.
>>30300586
I appreciate their newer M6 IC lowers so much I went out and bought one, but the aforementioned KAC rifles have far better upper assemblies.
Is noveske worth the money?
>>30300623
Back when John was still alive and hand building competition Service rifles himself sure those were worth it, but not their production rifles.
>>30300620
Looks like they made it more difficult to use the bolt hold open.
I like LMT's new MARS-L lineup. They might make me ditch my SR-15.
>>30300724
The bolt catch and release is duplicated on both sides of the rifle. It is actually easier to manually lock the bolt to the rear for admin functions or type 3 malfunctions.
You can see it here, just actuate it with your index finger, or if you are a lefty you now have a catch/release you can use in the traditional manner if you want to.

Norinco
>>30300767
Did they ever fix the "some of them work, sometimes"?
>>30300342
i'm going to go with a transferable lower, a Matrix arms side charging non reciprocating upper, piston gas system, slap an acog on it and a vertical foregrip.
I'm simple I guess.
>>30300756
>>30300620
Stock LWRC ambi selectors suck though.
>>30300342
Transferable M16A4 or a SIG Sauer MCX
Oh wait
SIG Sauer MCX with a milled out receiver shelf and an RDIAS (MCX is an AR-15 derivative, the SCAR is not an FNC derivative. It's legal)
-or-
Transferable lower, MCX lower receiver adapter, MCX upper
Anyone know if Serbus SU-15 started shipping yet?
>>30300342
registered lower + FM-9 upper
>>30301103
Agreed, that is a simple fix though.
>>30301083
Those uppers look horrid. You probably wouldn't even be able to use it with a TA51W.
SR-25 with the 24" barrel.
