It's possible, but you technically won't own it. And even once you go through the process, they are harder to find than one would think.
All you really need is an FFL and an SOT, along with a demo letter, and to find one.
An easier way is just to get a drop in sear for Glocks. They are cheap and readily available.

Bottom line is they aren't available without opening a legitimate business with an SOT. Even then, you'll need a law letter from an LEO agency or buy one from a fellow SOT going out of business. An easier option is to convert a Glock 17 with back plate once you have your license.
