Post the blade.
You'll have to unwrap it and expose the tang to know for sure.
If the tang is welded on, a rat tang, or not almost the full length of the grip, it is considered to be garbage.

Looks excessively fancy. Check the guard and pommel to see if it's bronze or paint-on gold. See if you can scratch some of it off. Bronze is generally a mark of a better blade.

Try scratching the temper curves with something to see if it chips...? Basically see if its painted on or something.
