Let's have a /k/ Movie/show thread.
I uploaded the best episode of 1864 a danish TV show a while ago and never really shared it so here it is for you /k/.
It's from the Prussian-Danish war, which resulted in Prussia annexing southern Denmark/Northern Germany.

The beginning and some "Drama" sections won't make much sense, but you don't need to speak danish to understand the battle, though i'll translate or explain any part if /k/ turns out to be interested.

I recommend Waterloo (1970), one of the most accurate war movies ever made, one of the most expensive movies of all time aswell. Almost every soldier in this movie was a soldier in real life that learned appropriate formations and tactics.

They had to get all the horse riders of some 100 circuses to perform the stunts just for this scene.

Aside from the fact that most of the blood/shooting was CG to some degree, that was pretty good. Also kinda shows how much the needle rifle made a huge difference back when most everyone still had muzzleloaders

I didn't know that, thanks for sharing. By propaganda I mean that it shows the Germans in an incredibly negative light, that's not to say they didn't commit atrocities, especially in Belarus. The particular German unit that burns the village actually did it nearly that way, and it disturbed other German troops.
Supposebly just this one brigade murdered 30,000 people alone, the Dirlewanger brigade was made up exclusively of hard crimminals, murderers and rapists.
I think the unit eventually lynched their own commander in 1945 before being buttraped by a shock army.
