About $80,000 all said and done if you want an actual commercial license and enough hours to get a job.

If you're just getting it for private use it's much, much cheaper.

The problem is the first jobs you can get are instructor jobs, and the most common trainer in the US is the Robinson R-22. Their contract specifies that to train in them you need 200 flight hours, so even if you can satisfy your licensing requirements in like 140-160 hours you need to pay for the rest of the hours to get to that 200 mark.

Still, it's a lifelong dream so it's worth the cost.

Go either 3D design, such as inventor or anything in inspection if you want it easier. Machining isn't bad and can pay well, especially if you are programming or working specialized machinery (ie: Very large turning/grinding). I personally enjoy fitting, after having held very high positions in various companies, (at one point I was running a company for someone) so I just enjoy turning up and doing the simple things now.
Above all else, work in a specialization that you enjoy and take it as far as you can, or get the most experience you can in a few areas, if you're wanting to set up on your own.

I build and assemble sets at my university's musical arts center. I also do general backstage stuff, and help run the shows during practices and performances. It's a fun job.

I also intern at an organization that helps people fresh out of jail readjust to society. Most of the time I'm the only one in the building that hasn't been to jail or prison. Even the people that run the place have been in prison. One of the volunteers that comes in every day is a 50 year old child molester. About 20 percent of the people who come in for help are decent people who seem like they really want another chance. The other 80 percent are crack whores, homeless people, or fetal alcohol syndrome people who smell like they shit themselves. There are people who have fucked up their lives so much that they become regulars at this place. It sucks, but I need it to graduate with my second major. I'm trying to work more with the families and kids of these people, so I don't have to work with these fucks as much, but something tells me the family members won't be much better.

Average around $400,000 to $500,000 on a good year, working 8 months scaled throughout the calendar. It's not exactly scheduled, and there's always going to be a moment where you're always patched through "on-call", but I love my job, and it gives me a lot of free time to wander around and see the world and whatever.

Zoos pay me to fly around and make sure their animals are all, more or less, okay.

Honestly? I don't even know why they need me. Most internationally recognized zoos are INCREDIBLY competently staffed, and even the more unrecognized ones are almost always filled with passionate, educated professionals who know what the heck they're doing. I think it's because most people are smart enough to know happy animals make for happy visitors, which makes for happy customers, which make for happy wallets. Bretty good system, 2bh, f@m.

Best zoo I've ever worked with was San Diego zoo. Animals are extremely happy, and they really know how to run their zoo on a business level as well. Just, overall, very impressive. If you want to see a good zoo, go to San Diego.

Come to think of it, I honestly can't even tell if I've ever seen a "worse" zoo in my entire life. I don't know if it's just because only the really good zoos are rich enough to actually hire me, so I never get to see any of the bad zoos, or if it's because every zoo in the entire world is just always that awesome...

Worst experience I'd have to say is just last week at the Honolulu zoo. Some dumb tourist kept flash photographing the hippo enclosure, even though one of the hippos were a little grouchy from just having recovered from a cold.

I don't really blame the tourists though, because most "normies" don't really understand what they're doing, and it's all just mostly a case of being uneducated. Hippo was a bit overweight, now that I remember. Probably not too big a deal though. They tend to swell up a little halfway through the year and then fall back into a predictable pattern.

$2.50 an hour? Holy fuck niggers in McDonalds get better wages. Is this shop in the middle of the nowhere and you have to buy shit from it with your own cash so the owner won't hang himself after realzing that his shop should've gone out of buisness 20 years ago? Also if i were you i'd start sucking dicks for cash, $2.5 an hour is just so little unless you're living with your parents and don't have to pay a bills i can't imagine living of the wage like this.

SCARED.jpg
>starts screaming in a language unknown to anyone
>screaming not in pain, but like it was trying to communicate
>I look down at the wound
>I see guts trailing
>he does too
>tries to put its guts back in
>uses left arm to hold them in
>starts sprinting around the room
maximum_sped.webm
>nigga moving at close to 25 mph around that room
>sees an exit and bolts out
>river across from the hospital

When I was buying ammo for Nuggetfest a conversation struck up as I was checking out. I am an union industrial MRO electrician, everyone i work with says that if I ever join IBEW they will shit all over me and I'll always be a second class citizen barely above the apprentice they hired last week.

When I talk to the IBEW they talk about how they have a separate but equal program and since I'm union I probably wouldn't end up being separated but I won't know until I've worked quite a few jobs. And to join the IBEW I would have to quit my job which I have no problems with except I'll be in the same facility until it closes or I move on.

This boils down to don't join the IBEW except as an apprentice right? any insight from the inside?
