I can't remember which stock I picked up. I think it was the uncheckered stock with a buttplate but it may have been the buttpad (not the recoil pad).
I had to cut down the stock a bit to get it to match up with the recoil pad and then drill two new holes to mount the recoil pad. Then I sanded, stained, oiled and waxed them both.
It was a lot of fun, but it just takes a bit of patience. If you want to skip cutting it down to use a recoil pad just get the uncheckered stock with a recoil pad already on it.

There is ammo out there but clearly there is a rush to buy it, I've seen stock drop from tens of thousands of rounds listed in stock to sold out in a day across multiple sites. I've been browsing around to place my next order since I buy by the case every so often.

I'm just trying to replenish my stock and keep my stack deep. I blew off about four hundred rounds of 5.56 and about four hundred rounds 9mm/45 combined last week leaving me at once a couple hundred rounds of training ammo for my pistol calibers and a bit over a thousands rounds for each of the rifle calibers I shoot. That is getting to uncomfortably low levels of supply for me.
