I've been kicking around the idea of getting either an AR or a deagle for a while, but is now a bad time to buy, after the shooting? Will parts/arms be scarce and prices high for the months to come?
>>30272400
Deagle prices and the ammo they use 357 mag, 44mag, and 50ae are all likely to be unaffected by the scare.
The AR, its components, accessories, and ammunition are and will continue to be.
Yes goy, buy an AR-15 from me very cheap best prices around only $299 for stripped lowers!
>>30272400
No, unless you buy an AR. Don't buy those. They are kikemachines built to get you to buy parts as they intentionally jam often and wear out fast.
>>30272417
>>30272400
just remember the .357 deagle is different and not compatable with the .44/.50 african eliminator
If you don't get gold tiger striped in 50ae you're doing it wrong.
>should I buy something before prices go up or should I wait until I can't buy them or they're expensive?
You're an idiot, OP
>>30273843
yeah, I should just predict the future, right?
>>30273994
There is no downside to buying now so why not?
Why put your purchase in the hands of the unpredictable future?
Your argument is contrary to your opinion

>>30273994
forget that, I'm extremely high so what I said didn't make sense, but what you said was just as retarded. What I meant is that even if prices went up, it's unlikely they stay there (think AR ban scare when people were paying $2000 for $800 guns). Asking if now is a bad time to buy isn't stupid. I haven't looked at prices for at least a year, so I don't know if they've gone up or not.
>>30274043
Yes, there is a downside. Prices could be jacked the fuck up because of the scare, then plummet like in 2013.
>>30274068
>I'm extremely high
>itt: responsible gun owners
>>30274187
someone call the cops, I might shoot myself on this marijuana
>>30272400
Have both, deagle is pretty cool just to be like "yeah I got one", but they're fine for hunting believe it or no; if I could only pick one though I would say AR.
>>30272448
This. What are you, poor?
>>30272440
Current version of the Desert Eagle, the MkXIX, is modular and can fire all three calibers, .357 Magnum, .44 Magnum and .50 Action Express, using the same frame and slide. Switching between .44 and .50 requires a barrel swap and magazine change which takes seconds. Changing to .357 requires field stripping the slide and changing the bolt.
>>30272400
get the DE.
>>30272400
The Desert Eagle is a relatively low production gun. Prices won't be affected by panic buying and the three calibers it shoots are, up to this point, mostly unaffected by panic and hoarding. Two are commonly available revolver cartridges and the third is a special snowflake super Magnum that is, for all intents and purposes, a proprietary Desert Eagle cartridge.
Their not all that practical, but with a good shoulder rig you can carry one. And .50AE has more muzzle energy from a six inch barrel than 5.56 from an eighteen inch barrel.

Curious here, how well does the integral muzzle brake deal with muzzle flip?
>>30278034
i have shot a regular one and this one side by side and the break does help with flip, especially one handed. it still wants to go up though. it seems louder for all involved too if you can believe it.
>>30278147
I believe it. Brakes tend to increase the sound of the report. I already have my .50 barrel. I don't want to get the bolt on brake. I may have it magnaported. I haven't decided yet.
