I like AR ergos normally, but all of the AK mag ARs have the same problem for me.
No BHO but they retain the rear t-handle. The manual of arms for non BHO of course requires you to run the bolt for empty chamber reloads and a receiver side or forward position charging handle keeps your support hand working near where you are replacing the magazine as opposed to having to come back into your face then all they way forward again to the handguard.
