/k/ can you help me identify what this revolver is?
The LGS told me it was an Andrew Fyrberg but I suspect otherwise on account of the grip logo and proof marks

Closer picture of the proof marks

It's a Nagant

I would say schofield but I think that's wrong

Better shot of the grip
Closest I've found is a Spanish company, Orbea Hermanos. Everything I've read says the proof marks are Spanish.

Gee, thanks Mister. Does it take .32 Boku & Pico rounds?
This was on the cylinder
Looks like a Schofield

Lol, no.
There's a million brands that made guns like these around the turn of the century, usually in .32 or .38 caliber. Good luck finding out much about it.
I'd check the top of the barrel though, if you haven't already searched it for info. The design on the top of the grip is also usually brand-specific on these guns.

I just posted all the markings on it other than the serial, which is in the 5000s.
It was sold to me as a Fyrberg chambered in 32 S&W, really trying to figure out what it is so I don't buy the wrong ammo for it.

Regardless, it's a Schofield. Just like a 1911 is a 1911 regardless of which company manufactured it.

Goto http://www.littlegun.be/index.htm and start comparing pictures.

Besides being a top break revolver made around the same time (and thus having aesthetic and mechanical similarities) it's not a schofield though. These things are tiny pocket pistols. Same basic mechanisms, but different size, caliber, and manufacturer.

My guess is a Spanish Orbea Hermanos Model Model 1907. The grip markings look right.

That almost looks right but the trigger is different. Just so long as I know it shoots 32 s&w I don't care what it is, I only paid $100 for it.
Wouldn't mind prettying up the barrel a bit. How should I get this shit off?

The nickle plating is damaged, that is the under laying steel that rusted showing through. Either strip the whole thing and replate or blue or just apply oil or grease to stop the rust from creeping and leave it be.
Looks like it's just one of the thousands of s&w copies made in Spain, but I can't find the specific make.

What was up with Spain making indigenous copies of firearms in that period?

Very lax copyright laws
