Compare that to the past. Pope said "Go to Jerusalem and fuck shit up" and they did. Now we have a fragile peace around Jerusalem because Jews, but it's also the fact that Christianity is sniffed at. People hate and despise us. Christians are always seen as "pedos, drunks or black-asses" (there is a term in my language that literally translates to black-ass).
We can't have crusades because the religion under which these happened is long gone and the people have lost all sense of higher duty.
I don't want to go full /pol/ here, but look at Europe. We don't value anything anymore, we are told there is nothing to fight for and to just "go with the flow". Any disturbance to the passive nature of Europe is against the law or looked down upon. Just say you're a nationalist and you'll be chastised for saying so.
