Hornaday AR lock and load. Full progressive press, you can do about 400 rds an hour. Loading is the easy part, its the prep for the cases that takes forever. But honestly I dont even trim my brass anymore. I check the cases and make sure they arent split, the only time I prep brass is if I get a batch of once fired military brass, then I do a full prep and ream the primer pocket

Now I need to decide what sort of upper I want to build. Any suggestions? Dissipator with red dot? Freefloat with magnified optic?
>>
>>30250940
I have a JPCS on one of my rifles and I do shoot suppressed. If you really hate action noise it is nice, but a greased action spring is about as quiet so the cost of entry makes it a no-go for recommendations where dollars per donuts matter.

If you want something different, then go ahead and get it, but it certainly isn't necessary by any means.

Different guy, but:
>The accuracy requirement
from a test fixture calls for a maximum of a two inch mean radius at 200
yards from ten 10 shot groups (which equates to approximately three MOA).
M193 is 3-MOA ammo. Which is bad by any measure.
>M193 is supposed to be 1 MOA or less
lol you literally didn't even read the specs you yourself posted
>hence why there is a lot of XM193 sold by Federal/ATK
No, a lot is sold by Federal/ATK because ATK owns the Lake City ordnance plant and already owned the tooling and production lines to produce it in large volumes cheaply.

why do you want a 20" for fuckin 69 and 77gr? You simply cannot push them fast enough to frag. If you are gonna use those ammo types, stick with 14.5" or 16". If you want a 20", then stick with m193, it is just as effective as any of those special snoeflaek $1/rd turds.

>>30251639

No. Unless you are shooting in matchs at 600m+ with a kreiger barrel and handloaded ammo, it is unnecessary and also more prone to failure than a USGI FCG.

>>30251671
You cant waste $40 on an aluminum lower. Im just stating that you shouldnt expect to receive one that is cut to milspec blueprints without 3rd hole and FCG pocket. That being said, go for it.

I love when gear queers get all bent about their triggers. In a real world situation, your 9 lb GI trigger is going to feel like a 2 lb candy cane. People need to get their guns off the bench and shoot some practical rifle courses

What are you looking for? Red dot or magnified optic? Lucid makes a legit quality red dot
>>
>>30251855
which optic depends on your budget and use. you might say "general target shooting/plinking/home defense", in which case a reddot might be worth a look. some guys like magnification, in which case a 1-4x scope may be better suited to you. other guys dont like variable power, and want something more rugged, so theres always acogs
>>
Alright guys, could use some assistance here. I tried to buy a stripped lower last night from a dealer I'm friendly with and even filled out the 4473 but the FBI or ATF or whoever denied it because I'm not 21. What is the cheapest stripped AR I can buy that still counts as a rifle, also I'm in NY so it can't have a threaded barrel attached.

>Re-explain your situation.
You mentioned the a5 tube only works with vltor shit, I linked the generic carbine one and wanted to confirm that would work with anything as per the note they have on the page.

As far as the Geissele stuff goes, makes sense that it's for top end stuff. I just want a nice trigger thats around 3 pounds for the first stage, and 1 for the second. Any specific suggestions?
>>
>>30251945
>>30251951
I was already thinking a red dot would be good, as I am not going to be sport shooting, which I was hoping to find one at around the 200$ range, which I realize is in the lower end of the price spectrum. The furthest I would probably be shooting would be 50 yards.

Drill press, some lube.

If you're going to "burry" them, you don't need to worry about corosion if they're anodized.

They will also be useless without the rest of the parts, which will be hard to come by if you ever had to "un-burry" them.

yeah, change your preferences cause that shit dont exist.

And the A5 tube only works with an A5 buffer, you can still put different furniture on the outside, as long as its not 'commercial' sized.
>>
>>30252070
it, like many things does not make sense. you cannot buy a completed lower either, it has to have a barreled upper on it for you to purchase it under 21.

Depending on the country, not without going through a similar process to buying a gun.
