and a 200 grn .45 travels at around 1000 fps, while a 127 grn 9mm does like 1,200
Since f=ma, the 9mm round would have to have a 30% bigger deceleration compared to the .45
That seems pretty unlikely, considering the fact that they both have very similar penetration, and even if it were true, it would therefore mean the 9mm have inferior penetration to the .45
