I was looking into getting some gen 3 nods. I saw one pair which covered both eyes but led out into one tube. Does that affect depth perception? Could you use a NV compatible red dot with it?
Was also looking at one that is just a single monocular. Would I mount this on my non-dominant eye side of the helmet or should I mount this and be looking down my sights with it?

Can't use a monocular to aim down sights. Either need a mounted optic or IR laser.
