Dunno about EO's, but most red dot optics are designed so the red dot is visible from one side only, not two.
This in an effort not to give yourself away. The "killflash" covers that they add on are for reflections on the glass, not the "dot".
Since these are parallax free optics, it likely also would be a wrong point of aim if you could see the dot.
