Best SMG of WW2 along with the finnish KP31;
Shitty Tommy Guns and Stens got nothing on this and don't start talking about those fucky slavic ppsh fuck-guns
>implign ppsh wasn't great
>PPS 43 existed

Yeah, nah. By WW2 Soumi was thompson tier outdated
While the KP31 has perhaps the best subgun drums ever made, the gun itself is hopelessly heavy for what it is.

But the weight made recoil non existent
If the Suomi were about 4 pounds lighter, sure.
>>30220766
I would gladly take more recoil over trying to keep that behemoth up and aimed over the course of a 71 rounds drum.
the perfect submachinegun doesnt exis-
>>30220785
Man, I want one of those so bad.
I've never built anything from a parts kit. Would it be that hard?
>>30220785
They had bipods as well. 71 rounds feeding from drum while on a bipod probably gave them better fire support than most of the other purpose built lmgs of the day within 100 yards.
>>30220793
what exactly was the idea with a mag on top like that?
>>30220839
That's actually a pretty good use for it, like the ZK383 >>30220755
>>30220894
It makes gravity work for you, instead of against you
>>30220911
wouldn't a mag that high up be a problem? like a in close quarters situations like hitting door frames or branches?
>>30220766
Have you seen a Thompson fire? Having big ass bolts didn't do anyone any favors
>>30222085
I don't think the KP-31 fires as fast as the Thompson does (but then, that depend on which Thompson it was)
>>30220943
It made going prone really easy and it was really good in jungle warfare.

What about the MP-28?

38/42 was better than the 38A
